Accepted into my Dream School!

A TESTIMONY OF DIVINE CONNECTIONS:

The Youth Church has been a great blessing to me and I have grown tremendously in these few months of active involvement in the Care Group system.

In 2018, I when I was preparing for my WAEC, I had some financial challenges, so I couldn't pay to attend any tutorials. But glory to God, I passed the exam regardless. This year, I took a step of faith and applied for admission into the Federal Police Academy (POLAC). During my application, I had some negative reports: people telling me that I wouldn't be able to get into that institution without the help of an influential person. I met a few influential people who I knew could be of help, but no progress seemed to be made. I ignored those comments and went ahead to complete the entrance examination.

The list of students accepted into the Academy was scheduled for release about 2 weeks after the examination date, and selected applicants would be invited for an interview in Kano, but due to some processes, the list was delayed. I continued to hear those negative comments around me, like "Who do you know?" "Your results alone can't qualify you." The most striking of these was when someone asked me: "Who is your father?". I knew God is my Father.

I spoke to my Team Leader in the Youth Church about it and he reminded me that I have divine connection. God is my Father, and I'm a son of Pastor Chris. He assured me to keep calm, and keep the faith. He told me to just prepare for my trip to Kano, and not focus on the delays with the acceptance list, for my name was already on the list.

I put my faith to work, praying about the situation, with the consciousness that God is my Father.

I continually listened to Pastor's Message, "We Play By a Different Set of Rules", and our TeamPhileo Stem Challenge helped me a lot in teaching me to continually confess the Word of God, to myself and to the situation.

At the end of the day, my faith prevailed! When the list was published, to the glory of God, my name was on it! I won!Everything worked together for my good. I didn't have to depend on any man or any earthly connections. The lifting power of Christ promoted me! The Word works!! Hallelujah!!
